A practical Softix note for teams deciding what to build, improve, or prioritize next.

The decision starts with the product

Native development can be the right choice for deep platform integration or highly demanding experiences. Cross-platform can be excellent when speed to market and a shared codebase matter more.

Look at the team after launch

The best stack is one your team can maintain. Hiring plans, existing skills, release cadence, and ownership should influence the choice as much as technical capability.

Prototype the risky parts first

Before committing to a full build, test the hardest feature: camera workflows, Bluetooth, offline sync, real-time updates, or complex animation. The result usually makes the platform choice much clearer.

Choose for the next two years

A slightly slower first release can be worthwhile if it creates a simpler product to operate. Likewise, sharing code can be a major advantage when the product is still changing quickly.
