A practical Softix note for teams deciding what to build, improve, or prioritize next.

Speed is part of the first impression

A visitor experiences performance before they experience your copy, design, or offer. When a page feels slow, the brand feels slow too. That matters even more when traffic came from paid campaigns, because every abandoned session is budget you already spent.

Start with the biggest bottlenecks

We begin with image weight, render-blocking scripts, fonts, and third-party tools. These four areas account for a large share of avoidable front-end delays on small and mid-sized business websites.

Measure the pages that make money

Do not optimize only the homepage. Test landing pages, service pages, blog articles, and the contact journey. A fast homepage does not help much if the enquiry page becomes slow on mobile.

Make performance part of marketing

Treat speed as a recurring marketing metric rather than a one-time development task. Recheck after new analytics tools, chat widgets, ad pixels, videos, or design changes are added.
